A small family business that loves to skate, our aim is to grow skating in South Africa.
Started in 2015 by Ricardo Lino and originally based at The Shred Skatepark, Lino Skate Shop has grown and evolved into South Africa’s top Roller skate and inline skate store. Based at our current location in Platinum Junction Business Park, Montague Gardens since 2021, we have also developed our online store right here at linoskateshop.com to be up-to-date with our stock on hand of the latest skates and accessories from the top international skate brands.
The shop is now managed and run by Ricardo’s wife, Janice, and the Team Lino staff: Andrea, Ross, Shane and Asia; who are based at our store in Cape Town.
We sell roller skates, inline skates, aggressive skates, ice skates and additional accessories you will need to get you rolling and having fun safely. We import all our products from international suppliers, so if we don’t have what you’re looking for, get in touch with us – we’re always happy to help!
As well as offering skates for sale, in 2023 we opened our sister business On The Roll : a mobile POP-up roller skating experience. With On The Roll we can provide skates, protections and friendly team skaters to make your event, party or activation even more fun on wheels, and we come to you anywhere in Cape Town in our colourful skate trailer.
